Mike,
Do you have a backtrace? There are 85 issues resolved with this release,
although I don't remember a floating point exception off the top of my
head. If you give me a stacktrace I should be able to confirm whether or
not it was fixed.
If you would like to peruse the release notes, they are here:
http://docs.adaptivecomputing.com/torque/6-0-3/releaseNotes/torqueReleaseNotes6.0.3.pdf.
I didn't see anything that explicitly said it was a floating point
exception.
Post by Mike DiehnI'm trying to get torque running on an Intel SDP cluster and pbs_server
exits with FPE as soon as a pbs_mom tries to connect to it. It happens with
EPEL's 4.0.something version, with 6.0.2 and 6.1.0 source built as rpms and
installed.
David, do you know if there was an FPE causing bug that has been fixed?
I'm going to be trying 6.0.3 later this afternoon.
Thanks,
Mike
Post by David BeerMaui should still be compatible for all features that are supported by
Maui. We did have to fix an issue with Maui for it to be compatible with
Torque 5 and above, but that has been checked in and is available if you
checkout the latest Maui.
